April 13 - Brandywine High School student-of-the-month, Tyler Roach, has been captain of both the football team and the basketball team. He is active in his church and plans to study at Waynesburg College in the fall.
Kutztown High School student-of-the-month Justin Knabb has been a member of the Ski Club, Leo Club, and the yearbook. He is active in the school's theater productions doing lighting and sound. He is also a member of the Apple Corp, the school's tech assistance program for the leased Macintosh initiative. He is a Boy Scout and attended the Camp Neidig Leadership Camp this past year. He plans to attend Kutztown University in computer science.
Dean Wetzel has given the applications for Camp Neidig to the schools.
Jim Springer was a judge at our Rotaract Club's (a.k.a. Lambda Chi Alpha) beauty pageant, which is held to benefit the Caron Foundation. He was impressed by the event and invites us to participate next year since it is held on a Wednesday evening.
Steve Henning followed Jim's comments by telling us he has recommended our Retaract Club for a Presidential Citation.
Thank you to all the volunteers who got up early to help with the Omega Health Screening.
